Gabriel COOPER
LMFT, LPCC, MPHIL
I have a deep conviction for easing suffering and enabling people to find clarity in their life. I welcome all adults and specialize in ADHD, anxiety, chronic illness, relationships, self-esteem, and LGBTQ2+ issues. My treatment approach integrates evidence-based depth therapy with modern practices including Internal Family Systems (IFS), trauma-focused EMDR, and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), and Self Compassion (MSC). I draw on all of these practices in conjunction my mindfulness experience to create an individualized and effective therapeutic approach.

I am a wellbeing researcher and I believe the most effective therapy integrates science with what works for your individual experience. I am a graduate of UC Berkeley, Northwestern University, and Cambridge University. I am fully licensed in California as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and have been a counselor for 10+ years.

I conduct virtual and in-person psychotherapy with individuals across the country. I have a passion for working with creatives, LGBTQ2+ folks, and those living with chronic illness.
